DJIBINHO has been visiting schools in the Cologne/Bonn area since October 2021. On the day of the visit, 2-3 of our coaches come and teach children and young people the key points of UBUNTU as well as important life skills in 3-5 school hours. Our methods include:

Background
We live in a time of massive change:
Despite growing networking opportunities on the Internet and via social media, more and more people feel lonely and isolated. The corona pandemic in particular recently ensured that our youngest – the children – are increasingly struggling with psychological problems and loneliness..
..Djibinho aims at playing a role in countering that!
From soccer pitch to school:
Since 2020, Djibinho has been using soccer as a foundation to show the children their small successes as well as positive togetherness and along with that, the many benefits of being on a great team. Recognizing their successes and positive loving togetherness immensely improves the children’s self-confidence.
Soccer is just one of the many multi-faceted areas of our lives. In the end, no matter where we are or what we do, it’s all about working with other people. This is where we start and teach the children the philosophy of Ubuntu. There is nothing better than feeling happy because you have reached out to your brothers and sisters.
At the request of some parents, we created an action day at the end of last year. In addition to the UBUNTU philosophy, we also taught the contents of our Life Coaching program at a school for the first time. The positive response was overwhelming and prompted us to integrate the DJIBINHO action day as a permanent part of our project.
